We are looking for more Port Operatives/ Labourers for our Thamesport contract.
London Thamesport (LTP) is located in the heart of South East England, with the strategic vision to become one of the UK’s most thriving multi-purpose ports. A member of the Hutchison Ports Group, London Thamesport regularly welcomes new vessels and cargoes as part of its’ diversification strategy.
The opportunity has arisen for them to expand their temporary labour resource, providing applicants with the opportunity to acquire new skills and potentially develop a long-term career in the port industry.
Initially all candidates would be introduced onto the contract in the capacity of port operations, predominantly consisting of manual labouring tasks, including the loading and discharge of general cargo vessels, tallying of cargo and contributing to the safe and efficient transport and storage of varied cargoes around the Port; supporting both shipside and landside operations.
