More Information on London
London is the oldest city in England, its name being a simplified version of the roman latin name Londinium, this age also consequently making London the largest and most heavily populated city in England. Originally a port that primarily served a large fishing fleet, although the fishing industry still has a place in London’s port, over the city’s millennia of history the port has evolved to be a major global trading hub for goods of all shapes and sizes. London is also much more famously the seat of power for both the King or Queen of England and the national government, and has been for centuries, very few other places in England having anywhere near as much influence as London politically.
London is also famous for its landmarks, some of the better known ones being Big Ben, Tower Bridge and the London Eye so tourism is often high in London. The greater London area is also a hive of activity filled with many smaller towns connected via the London overground and/or underground, for those looking to venture out of the city. London, being The capital of England, really has no limits for job availability: if it’s anything from industrial jobs to commercial jobs. Few places will offer as diverse and well connected of a working environment as London.
