Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Export Customs Clearance Clerk to join our clients dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all export shipments comply with customs regulations and procedures. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
– Prepare and process export documentation according to customs regulations, laws, and procedures.
– Ensure all shipments meet applicable laws to facilitate the import and export of goods.
– Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and other logistics providers to ensure timely and accurate shipment of goods.
– Maintain accurate records of all export transactions and documentation.
– Communicate with customs officials to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
– Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery.
– Provide support and guidance to internal teams regarding export procedures and requirements.
– Stay updated on changes in customs regulations and procedures.
Requirement:
– Proven experience in customs clearance or a similar role.
– Strong knowledge of export regulations and customs procedures.
– Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary range £28,000 to £32,000 dependant on experience
